Our visual media team is seeking a talented, expert Photo Editor to join the London newsroom on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong editorial background, an eye for impactful imagery, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced global news environment. We'll trust you to: Select and edit news images for Bloomberg platforms, including the syndication siteUtilize CMS, DAM systems, and wires to source and publish high-quality, newsworthy photosDemonstrate strong editorial judgment by matching text with appropriate and culturally sensitive imageryWrite accurate and engaging captions and ensure proper attribution and licensing complianceCollaborate closely with the wider newsroom, drawing on Bloomberg's owned content, third-party sources, and proprietary tools to illustrate stories across platformsWork scheduled shifts, approximately 20 hours per week, to support a busy news desk You'll need to have: 5+ years of experience in photo ass
