About the Role
I run two completely different businesses—a Marketing Agency and a Packaging Company. While they’re worlds apart, both need structure, ideas, follow-through, and someone who isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
I’m looking for a Personal Assistant who’s comfortable juggling a mix of business tasks, personal admin, and the general organised chaos that comes with being a director.
You do not need experience in either industry. I’m far more interested in someone who’s proactive, sharp, great with people, and able to make things happen without needing their hand held.
If you’re the sort of person who thrives on variety, enjoys figuring things out, and likes taking ownership, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two days will look exactly the same, but here’s the kind of work you’ll be involved in:
Keeping me organised: calendars, priorities, reminders, travel, meetings—the lot
Handling communication on my behalf, professionally, politely, and sometimes firmly
Helping to run projects and manage day-to-day operations across both businesses
Problem-solving: spotting issues and fixing them before they become problems
Handling personal admin, appointments, and life logistics (if it needs doing, you’ll probably end up owning it)
Coordinating with clients and suppliers
Chasing outstanding invoices
Researching, planning, and taking on new tasks you may never have done before
Keeping systems tidy and making processes smoother
Basically, making sure I can focus on what I do best while you handle the rest
Who You Are
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re:
A natural organiser—chaos doesn’t scare you
Confident, switched-on, and good with people
Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Comfortable with ambiguity (not everything comes with a step-by-step guide)
Resourceful—you can figure things out using AI, Google, common sense, or determination
Happy to manage both business and personal tasks
Calm under pressure and capable of balancing multiple priorities
Someone who takes initiative rather than waiting for instructions
Able to maintain confidentiality and trust at all times
Nice-to-Have Skills (Not Dealbreakers)
Strong email writing and communication skills
Familiarity with basic admin tools (Office, Google Workspace, AI tools, etc.)
Project coordination experience
A sense of humour—honestly, it helps
What You’ll Get
A varied role where you’ll never feel like a cog in a machine
Freedom to take ownership and make real decisions
A boss who appreciates initiative and respects your time
Flexibility in how you work, as long as things get done
Exposure to two very different businesses (great experience)
A genuinely interesting, non-boring job where your ideas matter
The chance to grow within expanding businesses and carve out your own future role
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00 per hour (plus commission for sales)
Expected Hours: 40 per week
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (required)
Work Location: Burntwood
