Do you want to work as a Personal Assistant for a forward-thinking organisation and support a Deputy Chief Executive to deliver their ambitious agenda? Then look no further. Broxbourne Borough Council is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to support the work of the Council at the most senior level of the organisation.

This role requires a strong candidate with good communication skills, a positive approach, experience in diary management, assisting with projects and events, strong organisational skills, high accuracy typing, proof-reading skills and a proficiency in using Microsoft IT packages. An awareness of the need for confidentiality is also important to this role.

As an effective and confident communicator, you will be able to converse in fluent English (GCSE English Grade C/Grade 4 minimum required) as you will be updating, creating and developing reports for presentation at a senior level, producing minutes of meetings, budgetary documents and other documentation appropriate for external parties, customers and staff at all levels of the business. Diary management is also important with the candidate able to proactively schedule and document all appointments and tasks to optimise use of time and enhance overall productivity.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with ever changing demands that require you to work independently, be conscientious, adaptive, realise the importance of a prioritised workload to meet deadlines, as well as have a can-do attitude.
