🤸 The Role: Teacher of Girls' PE (11-16)
As a Teacher of Girls' PE, you will be responsible for:
Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and challenging PE lessons to girls across Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11).
Teaching a diverse range of sports and activities, including netball, hockey, gymnastics, dance, athletics, and more.
Contributing to the extra-curricular sports programme, running clubs and coaching school teams.
Assessing, monitoring, and recording the progress of students, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential.
Promoting a healthy and active lifestyle and fostering a positive attitude towards physical activity among students.
🔑 Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
Proven recent experience teaching Physical Education to the 11-16 age range, specifically girls' PE.
A thorough knowledge of the secondary PE curriculum and assessment methods.
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young people.
