Your key responsibilities will include: Be the go to person in the payroll teamProcess payrolls on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis (or as directed) for a range of clients of various sizes and from a diverse range of businessesProcess starters and leavers, calculating statutory payments and RTI submissionsCalculating auto enrolment pension deductions and ensuring compliancePreparation of P45s, Starter Declarations and other relevant forms as requiredProcessing end of year reporting and providing P60's to employeesBe responsible for liaising directly with clients to ensure accuracy of payroll data and answer phone queries, resolve problems and provide payroll supportSupporting the manager with internal payroll reviewsUploading pension contributions and starters to appropriate pension portalsChecking the clients HMRC gateway account and ensuring payments have been made accurately and on timeWorking with other departments to gather/provide payroll information in a timely mannerCommunicate with clients, other staff, Directors and the HM Revenue & Customs Support clients in the day to day running of payroll systemsFollow good practice procedures and internal Shaw Gibbs administrative processesObserve strict confidentiality at all timesAttend training as and when requiredPerson specification: Excellent attention to d
