Known for delivering high quality food and service, the business continues to grow and invest in its people. They are now looking to hire an experienced Payroll Officer to join their finance team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll. You will work closely with finance, HR and operations to ensure payroll runs smoothly and compliantly. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of hospitality payroll, including tronc. Key responsibilities: Run end to end monthly payroll for 400 plus employees across multiple sites, including salary and troncPrepare and maintain tronc calculations and reports in line with current legislationProcess statutory payments and deductions in line with UK payroll and tax rulesProduce P60s, P45s, P11Ds and all payroll documentation accurately and on timeReconcile payroll to weekly rotas and investigate variancesSupport weekly staff cost reporting and labour forecastingPerform regular payroll checks and resolve discrepanciesMaintain compliant payroll and tronc records, including audit and government requirementsAct as the main point of contact for payroll queries, working closely with HR and operationsMaintain payroll and HR systems and liaise with external providersBuild and maintain strong relationships with external providers and key internal stakeholders. Person Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience in a Pay
