  • Job Description
  • We are looking for an office based Payroll Manager to lead UK payroll operations with accuracy and compliance at the forefront. This is a key role ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, while maintaining adherence to HMRC regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end UK payroll processing for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with PAYE, NIC, pensions, and statutory reporting.
  • Oversee payroll audits and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Partner with HR and Finance teams for seamless data integration.
  • Keep up to date with UK payroll legislation and implement changes.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing UK payroll in a complex environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems (SAP, Workday, SDWorx or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Qualifications
  • CIPP qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of payroll experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
