Contract Opportunity: Payments / SWIFT Product Architect (6 Months) Location: London (Hybrid) Duration: 6 Months (potential extension) Start: Immediate Context twentyAI are exclusively partnered with a Venture Capital backed scale up. They are looking to build a new internal payments platform. They are seeking a Payments / SWIFT Product Architect to design and lead the build of this capability over an initial six-month engagement. You will: • Own and architect the payments infrastructure and integrations • Define the target operating model to move cash through the platform • Build and mentor a small engineering team from inception • Build relationships with custodians and SWIFT partners • Ensure compliance and security standards across all payment flows • Translate business and regulatory needs into a commercially viable, “sticky” product offering About You • Deep expertise in SWIFT protocols, messaging formats, and network integrations • Experience gained in a hedge fund, retail bank, or directly at SWIFT • Strong product ownership mindset — able to design, build, and commercialize a new capability from zero • Solid understanding of institutional payments, treasury operations, and cash management workflows • Hands-on technical or architectural background with a track record of building payment-related systems This is a chance to build infrastructure in a dynamic scale up environment — blending product, payments, and technology into a high-impact initiative.
