The Role
As a Junior Sous Chef – Pastry, you will:
- Support the Sous Chef and Head Pastry Chef in the daily operation of the pastry section
- Ensure consistently high standards in pastry preparation and presentation
- Assist in leading and motivating the pastry team during service
- Contribute to menu development, seasonal offerings, and creative execution
- Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards

About You
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellence and culture, who thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
You will have:
- Previous experience in a pastry kitchen at a similar level or as a strong Chef de Partie
- A strong technical foundation in pastry and dessert preparation
- The ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
- A genuine passion for quality, detail, and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising the pastry section during service
- Support training and development of junior pastry chefs
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Maintain consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation
- Support stock control, ordering, and waste reduction initiatives
