Approximately 15-27 hours a week Therapy Central LLP Remote working Self-employed and part-time hours to be determined between Therapy Central and successful candidate $13-17 per hour (Full Time Equivalent $32,100) Hours: min 15 hrs a week. Flexibility is preferred due to fluctuations in the workload of the business. Extra hours may be available on an ad hoc basis and to be discussed at interview and once within the role. Therapy Central LLP are looking for a reliable and experienced bookkeeper and administrator to provide vital support with the day to day running of its ever growing client base. The role is for a part-time self-employed position with flexible hours (minimum 15 hours). This is a flexible, remote role. Candidates with experience of working in healthcare, especially in a mental health field, is preferable. Ability to communicate with clients sensitively is essential. ABOUT US AND THE ROLE Established in 2018, Therapy Central is a private therapy service providing affordable psychotherapy online and within its Central London office space. Since opening, Therapy Central has provided quality therapy to nearly 2000 people, and continues to grow daily. The successful candidate will be working closely with the three directors in ensuring the smooth running of its processes and procedures, including client communication, database management and invoice management. They will also work flexibly as a self-employed member of the team, with agreed hours to suit both the requirements of the business and the candidate. The two elements of the role are highlighted below as well as the desired characteristics: Finance administration duties Provide bookkeeping services and support to clients Maintenance of calendar and therapist timetables Client database and account management Sending out invoices and client payment reconciliation Liaising with clients on any invoicing queries and offer solutions Clinical administration duties To respond to new client queries that we receive via email and telephone in a timely manner To be responsible for booking the free 15 minute consultations for clients To send appointment confirmation emails and client contracts to clients along with sending our therapists information on new appointments that have been booked Keeping our databases and systems (such as PowerDiary) updated To adopt a compassionate manner in all correspondence with clients Who should apply? The ideal candidate should be: Enthusiastic about working within the psychology field Able to adapt to new data systems Personable and a good communicator Enthusiastic with a desire to learn and attention to detail Good at multitasking and organisation Able to work with spreadsheets competently Able to keep accurate and timely records Able to communicate well with prospective clients over the phone and over email Able to communicate well with current members of the team and co workers Able to problem solve and take the initiative Able to take direction Able to approach senior members of the team when required A background in psychology or NHS services is desirable
