Payroll Administrator (Part-Time) Location: Liverpool City Centre (office-based with free parking) Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 pro rata (dependent on experience) Hours: 24 hours per week (flexible) Contract: Permanent Overview We are recruiting a Part-Time Payroll Administrator to manage a standalone, in-house monthly payroll within a stable and supportive finance team. This role would suit an experienced payroll professional looking for flexibility, autonomy, and long-term security. Key Responsibilities End-to-end processing of a monthly payroll for approximately 150 employees Payroll processing for both salaried and hourly-paid employees Reviewing and processing timesheets via a Time & Attendance system Managing starters, leavers, statutory payments, court orders and attachments of earnings Submitting RTI returns to HMRC Processing payroll payments through the bank Pension administration, including auto-enrolment and ongoing scheme management Posting payroll journals and supporting payroll reporting Assisting with year-end payroll activities Supporting the wider accounts function as required Working Hours & Pattern 24 hours per week Flexible working arrangement: 3 full days, or spread across 4-5 shorter days Fully office-based role About You Previous experience in an in-house payro
