Our Client a Film & Production Organisations seeks an experienced Part TimeFinancial Accountant to join the business on a temporary basis, 3 days per week. The Financial Accountant would be a "hands on" individual who ideally has previous experience in the film/entertainment industry, scripted background. The successful candidate would be highly organised, have a good grasp of financial accounts, have the ability to consolidate multiple subsidiaries as well as preparing monthly management accounts. Duties of the Financial Accountant include: Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly financial records, including balance sheet and profit and loss.Month end for subsidiary businessesMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.Prepare monthly management accounts.Consolidate multiple subsidiaries to a statutory level.Trial balance preparation , analysis and posting journals.Support cashflow forecasting.Production accounts and rechargingBalance sheet reconciliationSupport for VAT returnsImplement controls & procedures to streamline accounts.Producing events weekly comparisons (Actual vs forecast results) Processing invoices & expensesSupporting the Head of Finance with ad hoc tasks and production of general financial information Requirements of the Financial Accountant include: Film/Drama accountancy background advantageous.Strong attention to detailHighly organisedExcellent communication skillsQualified by experience.Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central is advantageous however not essential.
