SyncVR Medical (syncvr.tech) is a mission-driven, award-winning company transforming healthcare through Virtual Reality (VR/XR). We operate our Danish entity, SyncVR Medical DK ApS, with a lean, startup mindset. We are seeking a highly specialized and reliable freelance Bookkeeper/Accountant to ensure full compliance. To be clear, we are a cash-constrained startup and are looking for a long-term partner who appreciates the value of stable, minimal work at a competitive, but not corporate, rate. SCOPE The workload is designed for extreme efficiency, making this an ideal, predictable client: Workload: Approximately 2 hours per month on average, with some extra time during the annual close. Transaction Volume: Very low—roughly 8 sales invoices per year, almost no local expenses, and no payroll. RESPONSIBILITIES Bookkeeping: Maintain fundamental records (invoices, postings, and reconciliations). VAT (Moms) Filing: Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns as required. Annual Reporting: Prepare and file the mandatory Annual Financial Statements (Årsrapport) under Danish law. Corporate Tax: Prepare and file the Corporate Income Tax Return (Selskabsskat). Liaison: Act as the primary contact with SKAT and Erhvervsstyrelsen for compliance matters. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Specialized Knowledge: Proven experience with Danish accounting standards and compliance for an ApS entity. Regulatory Familiarity: Direct experience dealing with SKAT and Erhvervsstyrelsen. Communication: Fluent in written and verbal English. (Danish is an advantage). Software Proficiency: Familiarity with modern accounting systems. (We need to know what you use!) Mindset: Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
