Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, adhering to company standards.
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food preparation and service.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and counters throughout shifts.
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
• Assist in food preparation tasks when required, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency.
• Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including proper handling of food items and cleaning procedures.

Skills

• Proven Barista experience or strong interest in coffee making and beverage preparation.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene.
• Experience with serving customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Basic food preparation skills to assist with light kitchen duties when necessary.
• Good time management skills to handle busy periods effectively without compromising service quality.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 29 per week
