The firm specialises in working with HNW past and present legal professionals and has an average client size of around £4 millionDue to the nature of the clients you will be involved in a wide range of cases including complex tax and trust planning. The firm uses an interesting mix of traditional financial planning and institutional investment techniques to create client portfolios that are predominantly passive.Key duties of the ParaplannerPreparing documentation for client review meetingsAttending and minuting client and prospect meetingsProduction of Suitability Reports for existing clients covering for example, pension draw and contributions, pension transfers, fund switches, bond assignments and surrenders. There is also occasionally a need to recommend protection products.Producing full planning reports for new clients. Investment strategy and risk approach is arrived at through the use of our proprietary investment modelling which shows outcomes as real (after inflation) annual spending amounts within a range. Altering the risk approach, changes the range of outcomes.Liaising with our Investment Team to communicate changes to client plans which impact on the investment strategy.In time, for the right candidate, there is likely to be the opportunity to look after a number of their own clients.What’s on Offer?Salary of up to £70,000Flexible office attendance with no mandatory requirements25 days annual leave + bank holidays, rising to 30 with servicePotential to take on clients and move into an advisory role over timeStudy supportStrong
