EB Paraplanner: A respected Wealth Manager with a reputation for success within a full range of Financial Services is keen to appoint an experienced Paraplanner. Key Responsibilities:-Report writingDealing with technical queriesProduct and Fund research in conjunction with Research AnalystPackaging reports:-Proof reading reportsPrinting reportsObtaining illustrations, key features, KIIDS and any other associated documentsObtaining and pre-populating application formsFirst line of compliance:-Checking factfindsChecking status of compliance documents (client agreements, AML etc)Problem solving – resolving in-depth problems and issues to find appropriate solutionsFirst line of defense for compliance related issues, empowered to challenge advisersCommunicating with product providers, advisers and clients where necessary Keeping knowledge of products and platforms/providers up to dateBeing part of the CPD structureAttending quarterly Adviser DaysSystems:-Technically competent with:- Outlook, Word, Excel to intermediate levelIdeally competent with Intelligent Office (back office system) or similarIdeally competent with Voyant, O&M Profiler and FE AnalyticsWorking knowledge of platforms ideally:- Old Mutual Wealth, Aviva, Ascentric and Aegon ARCPersonal Specification:-Diploma qualified or working towards itAt least, 2+ years experience as a ParaplannerAbility to communicate at all levels, organised, effective time management, ability to prioritise workloadTake pride in your work and pay particular attention to detail.The role is available immediately.
