Using your experience you will be involved with preparing and applying finishes to a wide variety of products. Job Description The purpose of the role is to ensure that the customer receives a high-quality product in line with process and product specification. The role will support the manufacturing process by preparing and painting products in accordance with health and safety regulations and process instructions. The main aspects of the role are:- To prepare products for paint (degreasing, sanding, filling products); using wide range of tools to ensure a quality paint finish. To mask products in readiness for painting. To mix paint in line with instructions, conducting associated tests where necessary. To prepare test samples. To use various techniques to apply paint of all types. To complete job cards and other documentation in an accurate and timely manner. To follow appropriate instructions and diagrams. To communicate with other areas to share any issues and contribute to the smooth running of production.
