Packing Team Member

Location: Sommerset

Hours: Monday - Thursday 07.45am - 16.00 & Friday 06.45 - 15.00

£12.60 Per hour ( paid breaks)

Join the final stage of COOK's production process, No one wants a classic fish pie when they were expecting a sticky toffee pudding and you are the team that prevents that from happening, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards before leaving the kitchen. Attention to detail, quality control, and teamwork are essential as you seal, sleeve, and box our remarkable products.

The Role

• Ensure all puddings are boxed to the required standards

• Give attention to accuracy, detail, speed and overall presentation of the product

• Ensure all food hygiene & food safety principles are followed

• When appropriate, ensure that the necessary diligence is applied to completing paperwork

• Make sure all products are weighted to the target weight

• Keep your working area clean at all times

• To understand the importance of high & low care areas of the kitchen.

Good to Have

• Prior experience in food manufacturing or catering (NVQ Level 2 is a bonus).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
