Packaging Operator Location: Yattendon, BerkshireSalary: £28,900 per annumShifts: Alternating weekly: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PMMonday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM Role Overview We are seeking a motivated Packaging Operator to join a busy production team. The role involves working on packaging lines to ensure products are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety Lead by example, following all Health & Safety policies and procedures.Challenge unsafe practices and report hazards or near misses promptly.Complete plant safety checks as required.Maintain clean and hygienic production areas at all times. Quality Carry out quality checks and documentation in line with company standards.Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance during audits.Complete all line checks and ensure production paperwork is accurate.Communicate and isolate any quality issues immediately. Experience & Skills Required Previous experience on a beverage or food production line preferred.Forklift Truck license or willingness to train.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with HACCP is an advantage.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills (written and verbal).Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).Full UK driving license and right to work in the UK.Ability to lift up to 15kg and work outdoors when required.Flexibility to work alternating shifts and adapt to business needs.
