Support Worker - Redhill (3-Month Contract)




We're recruiting for a passionate, proactive Support Worker to support in a team delivering vital services to individuals experiencing street homelessness across East Surrey. This is a rare opportunity to take on a role combining frontline outreach with Support working experience-making a direct impact while helping shape service delivery.




Key Details:

• Pay: £15 Per hour PAYE
• Start: ASAP
• Length: 3 months (possibility of extension)
• Location: Redhill
• Hours: Monday-Friday
• Will need to do 2 early outreach shift per week (typically 5:30am-1:30pm)
• Essential: Full driving licence
• Ideally own car (pool cars available but not always guaranteed)

About the Role:




Frontline - Outreach Worker

• Carrying out frontline outreach to people experiencing rough sleeping
• Supporting individuals at risk of homelessness
• Managing your own caseload and engaging clients into appropriate services
• Working collaboratively with local partners to provide person-centred support

About You:

• Passionate about supporting people affected by homelessness
• Experience working with vulnerable individuals (homeless sector experience ideal)
• Confident communicator with strong engagement and rapport-building skills
• Some supervisory or mentoring experience desirable
• Empathetic, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality support
