Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils feel safe, supported, and motivated to engage in learning both inside and outside the classroom. The Role As an HLTA / Outdoor Learning Instructor, you will: Develop and plan structured outdoor learning sessions tailored to individual and group needs. Deliver engaging outdoor activities, including physical education, team-building exercises, and experiential learning. Support pupils to develop social skills, communication, confidence, and positive peer interactions. Use outdoor learning as a tool to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour. Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to align outdoor provision with EHCP target. Lead small groups and provide targeted interventions where appropriate.
