Oracle DBA, 8 Month Contract Opportunity, Inside IR35, Hybrid We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA for a contract role supporting enterprise-level systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle technologies and proven experience in managing complex database environments. Key Responsibilities Provide administration and support for Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.Implement and manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and Grid Infrastructure/Clusterware.Perform database cloning, patching, and upgrades for Oracle E-Business Suite R12.Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues using SQL Plus and PL/SQL.Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.Support and maintain Oracle WebLogic environments.Develop and maintain reporting solutions using OBIEE.Work with open-source platforms such as Liferay and Oracle development frameworks including ADF and APEX. Required Skills & Experience In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture (12c).Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and Grid Infrastructure.Strong understanding of E-Business Suite R12 setup and administration.Proficiency in SQL Plus, PL/SQL, and scripting for automation.Experience with Oracle WebLogic, OBIEE, and open-source tools like Liferay.Familiarity with Oracle ADF and APEX development frameworks.
