Operations Manager - Adults Services & Wellbeing | Calderdale Council Calderdale Council is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop our Adults Services & Wellbeing portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to shape the delivery of adult social care, drive innovation, and support integrated health and social care within Calderdale Cares. Role Overview:As Operations Manager, you will provide operational leadership across multiple teams, ensuring statutory obligations are met and services achieve the highest quality outcomes. You will lead multidisciplinary teams including qualified social workers and regulated professionals, manage budgets, and oversee service performance and safeguarding for adults at risk. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of Calderdale's five localities model, embedding strengths-based, person-centred approaches that maximise independence and choice. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage operational delivery for adults' social care and wellbeing services, ensuring compliance with CQC standards.Implement service improvements, promote innovation, and deliver person-centred, preventative care models.Manage multi-professional teams, including supervision, appraisal, and performance management.Build and maintain strong partnerships across Health, Council services, the third sector, and community organisations.Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure value for money.Contribute to the Directorate's strategy, supporting cross-directorate leadership and change initiatives.Champion safeguarding and welfare of adults at risk of abuse, leading related activity and compliance.
