You will be operating a fleet of 30+ vehicles daily, andmanaging a busy warehouse team. The company is on an exciting growthtrajectory, with a family-run culture and a commitment to operationalexcellence, they're looking for an Operations Manager to join their team andhelp drive efficiency across transport and warehouse operations.Your new role:As Operations Manager,you'll oversee day-to-day operations across transport and warehouse, ensuringsmooth processes and high standards of service. You'll manage rota planning,performance monitoring, and compliance, while supporting change initiatives anddriving continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role where you'll leadteams, resolve operational issues, and work closely with the OperationsDirector to implement new business plans.What will you need to succeed in this role? Strong experience in transport and warehouse operations,ideally at shift manager level or above.Knowledge of route planningsystems, warehouse software, and compliance (including WTD and H&S).Ability to lead and motivateteams, with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.Commercial awareness and flexibility to adapt to business needs.A good understanding of employment law and legislation (HR / RTW / Investigations/ disciplinaries)Investigating warehouse and drivers' complaints, documenting, and advising on next stepsIdeally, International CPC qualificationA proactive, hands-on approachand willingness to roll up your sleeves Benefits you will receive in return: Competitive salary (around £45,000 - £55,000, negotiable based on experience)Opportunity
