- Join our Global Operations team as part of the Futures & Options group in London, in a senior role providing critical support to the trading desks. This position carries significant responsibility, with regular interaction with clearing brokers, exchanges, fund administrators, and other external counterparties, as well as oversight of key operational processes across the trade lifecycle.
Your future role at QRT
- Managing end-to-end post-trade workflows for Futures & Options across exchanges
- Performing trade booking, allocations, and give-ups
- Monitoring and resolving unmatched trades, block allocations, and give-up mismatches across multiple executing and clearing brokers
- Handling lifecycle events including expiries, exercises, assignments and corporate actions
- Reconciling positions and transactions versus clearing brokers, fund administrators, and internal systems; resolving breaks promptly
- Liaising with trading desks, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, and COO teams to address trade queries, funding requirements, business development and margin calls
- Partnering with brokers, exchanges, and vendors to improve workflows and reduce manual intervention
- Supporting process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance listed derivatives operations
Your present skillset
- 5+ years’ experience in Futures & Options Operations / Listed Derivatives trade support, from either the buy side or sell side
- Strong knowledge of F&O trade lifecycle, including trade capture, clearing, allocations, give-ups, matching, settlement, expiries, exercises, and assignments
- Hands-on reconciliation experience across positions, cash, fees, and margin, with a strong understanding of clearing and settlement processes
- Exposure to corporate actions and lifecycle events impacting listed derivatives
- Driven and self-motivated to problem solve, streamline workflows, and contribute to automation initiatives
