About
Are you hyper-organised, people-savvy, and ready to grow with a small (but ambitious) company?
We’re looking for someone who can become the operations and client experience backbone of The Trade Tribe.
You’ll be part PA, part client concierge, as well as the force behind our operations - the kind of person who loves a to-do list but is also happy greeting clients with a confident smile and a well-run calendar behind you.
This is a role that will evolve with the business, starting in a coordinator/assistant capacity but with real potential to grow into a leadership or specialist position over time.
Who we are:
At The Trade Tribe, we’re a fast-growing startup, helping people develop wealth building skills they were never taught in school. We help everyday individuals learn how to invest simply, safely, and confidently - in just five minutes a day.
We work smart, move fast, and believe in doing meaningful work that actually improves lives. We’re embracing AI in our processes and systems, and on the day-to-day we use software like Monday, ActiveCampaign, Zapier, and constantly test, refine and improve.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be working closely with our founder (Ben), and collaborating with our marketing lead (Bianca), across three core areas:
Operations & Admin
- Managing calendars, appointments and schedules with precision
- Organising in-person and virtual events
- Setting up systems, automations and processes to keep the business running like clockwork
- Inbox and document management
- General day-to-day support for smooth team operations
Client Experience
- Managing communications with clients and ensuring they feel supported, seen and valued
- Helping onboard new clients into our systems
- Gathering feedback and spotting opportunities to improve the customer journey
Creative Coordination
- Assist with copywriting and editing content that reflects our founder’s voice – warm, energetic, no-fluff – and helps build trust with our audience.
- Writing client-facing emails with clarity and personality
- Helping coordinate tasks across our marketing and content calendars
- Updating landing pages or triggering automations (with guidance)
- Light content tweaks (no design experience needed, but a sharp eye is a plus!)
Who this role is perfect for:
- You love variety, structure, and being the person that holds everything (and everyone) together
- You’re tech-savvy and can pick up new tools quickly – especially AI tools and automation software (don’t worry, no coding, this isn’t an IT role)
- You have excellent written English, and enjoy clear, warm communication
- You’re outgoing, proactive, and confident communicating with clients
- You work independently, but love being part of a small, driven team
- You enjoy rolling up your sleeves and doing what needs to be done – whether it’s writing an email, booking a client meeting, or fixing a broken link
- You can quickly pick up someone’s tone of voice and write in a way that feels like them.
Who we’re not looking for:
- People who need constant hand-holding—we’ll support you, but you need to take ownership
- Rigid corporate types who need narrow role definitions – we’re growing and things shift quickly
- Resistance to using AI or new tools—this is a big part of how we move fast
- Anyone afraid to speak up or ask questions—we love curiosity
Perks & Progression:
- Personal development is a big part of our culture — we’ll support you with access to top courses, mentorship and growth opportunities
- Your ideas will be heard — and you’ll have the autonomy to turn them into action
- You’ll have the chance to grow your role as the company expands
- Flexible with working from home, relaxed dress code, and a collaborative, non-corporate team environment
Role Requirements:
- Full-time (Monday to Friday)
- Must be able to commute to Borehamwood, Hertfordshire 1x per week
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident using or learning systems like Notion, ActiveCampaign, Zapier, Google Workspace
- Experience in admin, customer service, or operations roles is ideal
Experience We NEED You To Have:
- Hands-on experience supporting founders, execs or fast-moving teams (you’ve been a PA, EA, operations assistant or similar and know how to keep things running smoothly)
- Proven ability to write or edit copy that sounds like a real person - not a corporate robot (bonus if you’ve written emails, landing pages, or socials)
- Worked in an operational or administrative capacity inside a growing business (you understand how to prioritise, systemise, and communicate clearly)
- Excellent organisational skills and a love for streamlining chaos into clarity
- A natural knack for using tech tools and picking up new platforms quickly
Bonus points if you’ve:
- Used ChatGPT or other AI tools in your workflow
- Worked in a startup or small team where you wore multiple hats
- Helped manage client communications, calendar systems, or internal operations
