The main goal of the role as Operating Area Field Lead – Maintenance & Repair, is to provide day-to-day management and training of field staff, including employee selection and development, field training, and safety. You will lead operational efforts in your operating area, managing costs while ensuring superior customer satisfaction. Reporting to Operating Unit Field Lead, you will drive results based on defined KPIs, and partner with Operations, Sales, EH&S, Quality and Safety Lead to coordinate trainings, compile reports and champion continuous improvement. About the role As the OA Field Lead – Maintenance & Repair for the Provinces, your main objective will be: Serving as the key leadership and support center for the Operating Territories, delivering needed training expertise and operational support to the Operating Territories to deliver on our commitment to the customer. Ensure KPI’s are clearly defined, understood and measured Driving operational excellence on Operating Area & Operating Territory level On a typical day you will: Ensure field employee safety and quality of service in your territories Plan, organize, and manage service field activities to ensure that these activities meet customer needs and company standards Ensure effective and efficient allocation of available resources such as manpower and materials Conduct field education training with field workforce Improve efficiencies, managing route schedules and callback rates Understand how to provide technical support to field staff, either self-provided or redirected to other experts Authorize repair orders and tracking completion Lead change toward better efficiency and communication What you will need to be successful BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience Experience working with a team of technicians is required Leadership experience is required Elevator industry experience is required Excellent communication skills and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment Strong computer and technology skills, business acumen and a passion for customer service Results oriented mindset and a track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment with a high level of change The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of process improvement and a proven ability to identify, implement, and sustain more efficient ways of working Travel is required within your territory, driver’s license as required for your territory Apply today to join us and build what’s next!
