Nursery Practitioner – Temp to Perm Location: Chester, CH3Hours: 8:00am – 6:00pmDays: 3–4 days per weekStart: ASAPRoom: Toddler Room About the Role We are currently recruiting a reliable, proactive Nursery Practitioner to join a warm and supportive nursery in the CH3 area of Chester. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, perfect for someone looking to secure a long-term role within early years education. You’ll be working in the toddler room, supporting children’s development, engaging them in stimulating play, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. What We’re Looking For: We need someone who is: Reliable and committedOn the ball with a strong understanding of safeguarding and daily routinesAble to use their own initiative and work confidently within a busy settingPassionate about early years learningComfortable working long days (8am–6pm) with a 45-minute lunch break Key Responsibilities: Supporting the day-to-day running of the toddler roomPlanning and engaging children in age-appropriate activitiesEnsuring the environment remains safe, clean, and stimulatingWorking collaboratively with the teamBuilding positive relationships with children, staff, and parents Requirements: Experience working in a nursery or early years environmentRelevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred)Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)Strong communication and organisational skills
