Early Years Practitioner Job Specification (Horsham Area):Role - Early Years PractitionerLocation - Horsham (Good transport links and free parking available)Contract - Full-Time (5 days a week) or Part-Time consideredHours - 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Full-time)Operational Hours - Term-time only (38 weeks/year), open 8:30 AM – 3:30 PMKey RequirementsQualification: Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare (Essential), with a full and relevant qualification to be counted in staff ratios.Experience: 1 year experience in Nursery or Childcare with under 5s (Preferred).Knowledge: Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Birth to Five curriculum (Essential).Core Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality care and education for children aged 1-5 years within a small, friendly team.Work five full days a week (or agreed part-time hours).Adhere to all playgroup policies and procedures.Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.Compensation & BenefitsSalary - £21,000 per annum (dependent on age and qualification)Pension - Company pension scheme availableDevelopment - Free training courses available (including Child Protection, Food Hygiene, and First Aid)Perks - Casual dress, free parking, employee discount/store discount, health & wellbeing programme, and complimentary tea/coffee.Screening - Subject to an enhanced DBS check.
