ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our client’s high-quality early years setting. This role is perfect for a strong Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner who is committed to delivering exceptional childcare and supporting the smooth running of the nursery.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
✦ Support the Nursery Manager with daily operations
✦ Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards
✦ Lead, motivate, and supervise staff across all rooms
✦ Oversee planning, observations, and EYFS curriculum delivery
✦ Build strong relationships with parents, children, and external agencies
✦ Manage rotas, staffing, paperwork, and administrative tasks
✦ Step in for the Manager when required to ensure seamless nursery operation


REQUIREMENTS
✦ Level 3 in Early Years (essential)
✦ Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
✦ Confident leader with excellent communication skills
✦ Ability to support, mentor and inspire a team
✦ Reliable, organised and passionate about early years development
