We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Night Shift Supervisor to join our well-established team. This is a pivotal role within our operations, offering excellent exposure to various aspects of the business and clear progression opportunities for the right candidate. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations during your shift, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining quality standards, and supporting and motivating the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during your shift, ensuring targets are met and operational standards maintained.
• Traffic Management Compliance: Ensure that Traffic Management installations comply with safety regulations and quality benchmarks.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any operational issues or employee concerns efficiently.
• Team Development: Provide ongoing training, development, and support to team members to enhance their competencies and qualifications.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with other supervisors and management to ensure consistent performance across all shifts.
• Administrative Responsibilities: Maintain accurate shift records, create detailed handover reports, and manage administrative tasks, including agency staffing, invoices and staff briefings.
• Staff Management: Oversee staff considerations such as competencies, safety, fatigue management, holidays, and working patterns.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in Traffic Management or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently, including during lone working shifts.

• £155 per shift (Sat-Sun)
• Rotating shift pattern (4 on / 4 off) starting from 5 PM to 5 AM, including weekends and bank holidays.
