  • What you’ll be doing
  • Reporting to our Chief Growth Officer, you’ll be providing sales support to our B2B outreach. People skills, persistence, attention to detail, and a strong ability to understand and explain technical concepts are all essential to this role. So is the ability to improvise and adapt based on the data in front of you. Good analytical skills are essential. As is familiarity with tools like Apollo.io for lead sourcing, data enrichment, and multi-channel outbound campaigns. Prior experience with PowerPoint, Airtable and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) to organise and manage data effectively will be a distinct advantage.
  • Your regular tasks will include sales outreach, prospecting, pitching, inputting information into CRM systems, and nurturing early client relationships. You’ll also help with setting up and creating new sales and marketing campaigns, which may include researching, analysing and identifying potential markets and clients. You’ll attend events and help with the administration and materials for our B2B pitch process. You’ll also develop knowledge about our products, and collate and prepare case studies to support client meetings. You may act as a first point of contact for inbound requests from potential clients.
  • Marketing
  • Utilising analytics tools to track and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns. Identify areas for improvement and trial new approaches.
  • Conduct targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads, nurture prospects and engage clients using email, LinkedIn, and other experimental channels
  • Sales Development
  • Write custom outreach and help nurture relationships
  • Data entry. Managing customer relationships through our CRM system. Ensuring accurate and up-to-date task management and client information.
  • Using tools like Apollo.io, Airtable and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) to organise and manage data effectively.
  • Assist in creating sales collateral and other materials, including customer presentations, proposals, social media posts, etc.
  • Assist with market sizing and research to identify potential opportunities.
  • Join client pitches to assist with note taking - and eventually lead pitches yourself!

  • live somewhere commutable, so that you can easily attend on-site client meetings, UK conferences, and international conferences

  • Qualifications
  • You have
  • At least 1 year’s experience doing sales or marketing for a tech company
  • Studied business, economics or a related subject
  • Previous experience using a CRM
  • Previous experience using lead generation tools like Apollo
  • You are

  • A strong communicator - you have a good phone manner and strong written and verbal communication skills. Working the room at an event feels comfortable to you, not like a chore.
  • Demonstrably interested in data - You enjoy working with data and have a lot of strong opinions, loosely held. You’d like to work in an environment where you can make an educated guess, “e.g. if we do X then our customers will do Y”, run a structured experiment based on that guess, and then see the results. You pay attention to details.
  • Emotionally intelligent - you know how to read a room. You have empathy for other people’s feelings and a good grip on your own. You know when to step back and breathe.
  • Highly organised and conscientious - you’re the kind of person who will hit “undo send” in gmail because you’ve noticed a typo in your outgoing message. You like to check your facts and submit assignments early. You enjoy ticking items off your todo list.
  • A multitasker - the idea of juggling multiple responsibilities doesn’t faze you, it excites you. You know how to prioritise aggressively and you’re comfortable asking for clarification.
  • Ready to improvise - we are a young, fast-paced organisation and constantly learning. To get the best out of your time with us, you need to be as excited by the unknown as we are!
  • Bonus points for any of the following
  • Previous experience doing strategic analysis (market sizing, competitor analysis), perhaps at work or via a relevant degree. This would be a good thing to call out in a cover letter.
  • Previous experience using marketing automation tools for streamlined workflows.
  • Evidence of entrepreneurial drive and/or side-projects with an entrepreneurial flavour.
  • Demonstrable interest in property, real estate, start-ups or tech as evidenced on your CV.
  • Demonstrable interest in AI.

  • Salary: £28,000 to £33,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Holidays: 25 days per year, plus UK bank holidays.
  • Application Process
  • The application process is structured into three parts.
  • A 20-minute call to explore your availability, prior commitments and career objectives. You’ll also be asked to do a 5 minute presentation on a topic of your interest, so get ready to teach us something!
  • A small take home assignment in excel/google sheets. You’ll have 48h to complete it.
  • A 1h final-round interview where we’ll debrief your test and learn more about you.
  • Timings: this role is expected to start January 2025.
