-Network Infrastructure Engineer - SC Cleared-Hybrid / Edinburgh-3 months initial contract-Outside IR35 Currently recruiting for a seasoned Network Infrastructure Engineer, working with our leading Edinburgh-based client, specialising in digital transformation. The Network Infrastructure Engineer will be tasked with working on a large programme of projects and upgrades to the Cisco-based network infrastructure. The successful applicant will have the ability to lead projects and people successfully and will have experience implementing processes and improved ways of working. This alongside a blend of tech skills across Cisco networking, some general infrastructure knowledge and expertise, will be required to be effective in the role. Role / Responsibilities Expert knowledge of networking technologiesBreadth of Cisco Networking expertiseRedeploying existing kit across the estate - Multiple buildings and 2 datacentresUpgrading, install/configuration of all existing switch stacks which are out of date.Optimise the networks, including implementing port security across the Public network and route all VLANs through firewalls.Contribute to the infrastructure roadmap, currently under developmentMinimum CCNA+ qualified, to assist with switch workPhysically install/uninstalling hardware.Someone highly personable, with excellent communication.Must be SC Cleared If you are keen to find out further detail around this opportunity, please forward an updated CV to Reasonable Adjustments: Respect and equality are core values to us.
