We’re looking for a dynamic Programme Sponsor to drive a high-impact programme with three powerful streams: Mobilisation, Change Improvements, and Benefits Realisation. This role is at the heart of our future-proofing strategy, ensuring our networks are ready to meet the demands of tomorrow. You’ll be the key voice championing the renewal and development of critical assets associated with development. Your leadership will ensure that every pound invested delivers tangible reinforcement to our network—whether through upgrading existing infrastructure or building new. Role Accountabilties Translate Strategy into Action: Work with Planning and Performance teams to turn regional strategies into area targets and short-term objectives.Prioritise Strategic Risks: Collaborate with County System Performance teams to assess and prioritise risks from growth, quality, legislation, and operational escalations.Drive Investment Decisions: Appraise intervention options and promote best-value solutions through appropriate investment approval routes.Lead Benefits Realisation: Develop and manage a benefits realisation plan to track and confirm outcomes post-intervention.Sponsor Strategic Programmes: Lead selected Network programmes across Water and Wastewater price controls.Support Regulatory Submissions: Contribute to Price Review submissions and regulatory data audits (EA, Ofwat, HSE).Manage Change Control: Oversee change control processes within Network Reinforcement programmes.Engage with Stakeholders: Represent the company in strategic discussions with regulators, developers, and customer groups.Protect and Optimise Assets<
