About the Role

As a Neighbourhood Ranger, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our neighbourhoods clean, safe, and well-maintained. Working across the city as part of our Environmental Services team, you’ll help deliver a seamless, high-quality service and make sure our communities meet the organisation’s standards.

Your work will include:

Carrying out caretaking, cleaning, and grounds maintenance activities.

Supporting property clearances and securing empty homes.

Ensuring neighbourhoods are safe and compliant with health and safety best practice.

Liaising with residents, neighbourhood housing staff, and colleagues to resolve issues and maintain high standards.

Every day is different — from hands-on maintenance to working directly with residents, you’ll help create neighbourhoods people are proud to live in.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Confidence to plan and prioritise your workload.
