About Us We are fast-growing startup building a marketplace that connects renewable energy developers and investors across solar, wind, and BESS projects. Our mission is to streamline project transactions by combining a modern marketplace with automated due diligence workflows. We are now looking for a highly capable full-stack developer (preferably with marketplace or workflow-automation experience) to help build our MVP and potentially continue with us long-term. What We’re Building We are creating a platform that includes: 1. Marketplace Module - Developer profiles and project listings - Investor accounts and project discovery - Search & filter functionality - Secure document exchange between parties - Messaging or integrated email notifications - User roles + permission system 2. M&A Due Diligence Module - Data-room style document repository - Automated checklists & workflows - Status tracking for each due diligence item - Risk scoring / red-flag summaries (simple version first) - Exportable due-diligence reports (PDF) 3. Admin / Back-Office Tools - Approving new projects and users - Editing listings - Viewing platform analytics - Managing user roles - Tech Stack (Preferred but Flexible) Ideal tech stack (open to your recommendations): Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript Backend: Node.js or Python (FastAPI), or your preferred equivalent Database: PostgreSQL Hosting: AWS / Vercel Integrations: Email, identity/auth (Auth0 or similar) Security: Handling of sensitive documents is essential If you have an alternative architecture to propose, we’re open to hearing it. Your Responsibilities - Architect the platform and recommend optimal tech solutions - Build both marketplace and due-diligence modules (MVP first, then iterate) - Implement clean, scalable, secure code - Integrate third-party services where useful - Advise on UX improvements - Provide documentation for all major features - Communicate regularly and meet agreed milestones Requirements - Proven experience building marketplaces, SaaS platforms, or document-driven workflow tools - Strong full-stack engineering background - Experience with secure document handling - Ability to work independently and think like a product owner - Strong English communication - Available at least 20–30 hours/week (or full-time if desired) - Ability to start immediately Nice to Have - Experience with renewable energy or financial marketplaces - Knowledge of M&A processes or due diligence workflows - Experience building dashboards, scoring systems, or workflows - Background in data-room security best practices Project Scope & Budget - We’re starting with an MVP to be delivered over the next 8–12 weeks, then continuing with additional modules. - Payment: Hourly or milestone-based — open to discussion depending on experience. - Long-term collaboration is highly likely.
