Executive Talent Solutions are working with a leading FMCG (Food) business to recruit an ambitions National Account Manager.The company is a growing Italian food specialist with strong relationships with the major UK supermarkets. The UK business has enjoyed 25% year on year growth recently and have ambitious plans for the rest of the decade.The successful National Account Manager will work for their central London office 3 days pw and WFH 2 days. A salary of £60,000 to £70,000 plus 20% bonus and excellent benefits is offered.You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 5-6 key branded food and drink products with both existing and new retail customers.Key responsibilities include:Business planning: Support the head of brands in creating a 2-3 year Business Plan. Create and develop a 1yr sales plan for all brands in all customers.Support and input into the annual budget planning process for the business unit.Business Management: Work cross-functionally to deliver the business priorities. Work with Buying Managers, Product Quality Managers and Supply Chain Cost Control to maintain up to date and accurate cost templates for all SKUs. Use the project management tool to support management of all commercial projects. Manage and develop cross-functional relationships both internally and externally: marketing, supply chain, finance, product quality, legal. Account Management:Manage and develop relationships with major retail customers, building long-term, strategic partnerships.Deliver customer & category invoice volume, invoice sales and profitability targets. Work with the brand owner to coordinate retailer engagement and growth. Negotiating trading terms, annual business plans, and promotional activity in line with business objectives. Drive distribution targets to increase range, spac
