We are seeking a committed and resilient Music Teacher to join a challenging but rewarding secondary school on a long-term temporary basis. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about Music education, confident in behaviour management, and able to build positive relationships with students who may require additional support or guidance.You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop musical skills, creativity, and confidence in a supportive yet structured environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach Music across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.Plan and deliver engaging practical and theoretical Music lessons.Use strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.Inspire, motivate, and build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.Assess and track student progress, providing meaningful feedback.Contribute to the Music department and support extracurricular activities where possible.Promote a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.RequirementsQTS, PGCE, or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting.Confident and skilled in behaviour management.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to engage and motivate students in a challenging school context.Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.To apply, please send your CV to Liz Crabtree
