We’re looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our clients engineering team and help keep their site, machinery and facilities running safely, efficiently and reliably.This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys fault-finding, improving equipment performance and taking pride in keeping a production environment operating at its best.What you’ll be doingYou’ll be responsible for the maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement of site equipment and facilities, including:Carrying out preventive and reactive maintenance on production machineryDiagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairsEnsuring equipment is safe, compliant and ready for productionMaintaining robots, PLC-controlled machinery and automated systemsRecording all work completed on the maintenance system and updating machine filesSupporting continuous improvement, suggesting ways to improve safety, quality, uptime and costEnsuring clear handovers between shiftsKeeping the maintenance workshop and work areas clean, organised and compliantMaintaining site facilities including compressors, boilers, chillers, fire systems, lighting and buildingsSupporting installation, commissioning and movement of new machinery when requiredWhat we’re looking forYou’ll be a practical, calm and methodical engineer who can work independently and solve problems under pressure.Essential:Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance (minimum 16th Edition Qualified)Experience of preventative maintenance in a production or manufacturing environmentAbility to read electrical and mechanical drawingsExperience working with robots and automated equipmentStrong fault-finding and problem-solving abilityGood communication skills – written and verbalCompetent using
