We are working with an established Freight Forwarder who is looking for a Freight Multi-Model Project Coordinator. POSITION SUMMARY:As a Project Coordinator Your duties will involve providing a high level of customer service to multiple clients as well as dealing with all aspects of freight operations from start to finish. Working closely with Project Manager and Commercial team. Need to be multi-model, with ideally Cargo wise experience. Role InvolvesSecuring bookings with carriers(airlines, hauliers etc.)Preparing shipment documents such as AWB’s, BOL’s etc.Entering jobs into the Cargo wise systemin accordance with the guidelinesHandling all aspects of customs clearance. Including (but not limited to), arranging declarations in house or via a broker, carnet run, monitoring with carrierMonitoring shipments(post flight, delivery status, driver info, arrivals, clearance etc.) and updating the client / account manager a requiredEnsuring job costs are kept up to date, and loaded into Cargo wise as soon as possiblePreparation of customs documents, ATA Carnets, COO’s etc.Reporting regularly to Manager at key stages of the projectAssisting with organising and delivering logistical aspects of a tour / eventEnsure Warehouse and Project Manager are aware of any transport and warehousing requirements. e.g. freight builds for exports, goods inbound / outbound, import breakdowns, airline and client site collection / delivery etc.Liaising with overseas agents/ other EFM offices for movements into / out of their territories, for any assigned projectEnsuring successful completion of each tour / event / project assigned to youProducing small transport / logistical budgetsNegotiating costs with service providersPreparing and sending quotes to customers
