At ST&R, we’re looking for a Mortgage Admin Assistant to support our busy mortgage advisors and help deliver a seamless service for our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting our mortgage advisors by managing admin tasks and keeping client files up to date
  • Submitting mortgage applications and tracking progress with lenders and solicitors
  • Handling paperwork accurately and ensuring everything is fully compliant
  • Keeping clients informed throughout the process with timely updates
  • Managing calendars, booking appointments, and sending reminders
  • Following up on outstanding documents and chasing third parties when needed
  • Maintaining accurate records using internal systems and Google Suite
  • Providing day-to-day support to ensure a smooth mortgage journey from application to completion

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous admin experience (mortgage or financial services admin is a big plus)
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Comfortable working with digital systems (especially Google Suite)
  • Good communication skills – professional, clear, and customer-focused
  • A proactive approach – someone who spots what needs doing and gets on with it
  • Ability to handle confidential information with care and discretion
  • Experience with lender portals and/or CRM systems is desirable
