Opportunities for Mobile Recycling Operatives based in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.

This would be working any 5 days from 7, but would include at least 1 weekend day each week.

This is a mobile position, so you would cover any of the 11 Suffolk sites as required.

Pay Rate : £12.21ph

Travel time and mileage are paid when travelling away from your base site.

Responsibilities:

• To operate the Recycling Centre safely and efficiently and in line with company procedures and policies, Environmental Permit, Planning Permissions and Contract Specification.
• To assist the Recycling Team in delivering a safe and efficient Recycling Centre service.
• To ensure that the highest standard of customer care is maintained at all times
• Responsability to deliver a high standard of customer service to the public by actively encouraging reuse and recycling as well as assisting the public with their waste disposal.

Successful candidates will be required to be trained at some point to operate our Rubber Duck Plant & will attend a First Aid course.

Reliable transport to be able to travel to any site on the contract to provide cover.

Shift pattern:

Summer Hours 1st April to 30 Sept Mon-Sun 08:45-17:15

Winter Hours 1st Oct to 31st March Mon-Sun 08:45-16:15

1st May to 31st August late night Thursdays 08:45-19:15
