The Role:
Based in Andover, our Fleet Management team is seeking a highly organised Mobile Technician Scheduler to help coordinate the daily activities of our mobile technicians, who are located across the UK relevant to our Depot locations.
You will be a key team player, ensuring timely and efficient vehicle attendance across our customers’ sites, helping reduce vehicle downtime and supporting our reputation for reliable, professional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule mobile technicians for planned maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs across our network of client locations.
- Coordinate daily workload based on technician skills, locations, job urgency, and resource availability.
- Use fleet management systems and scheduling software to track jobs, monitor progress, and update team performance tools.
- Liaise with customers to confirm appointments, provide ETAs, and handle any rescheduling if necessary.
- Support technicians with real-time updates, route planning, and parts availability.
- Maintain accurate logs, job completion records, and technician time tracking.
- Prioritise jobs in alignment with service level agreements and fleet compliance requirements.
- Work closely with the Head of Fleet and workshop teams to ensure a seamless workflow between mobile and in-house services.
- Help ensure health & safety standards, compliance checks, and company protocols are adhered to at all times.
Person Specification:
- Experience in technician scheduling, fleet coordination, or vehicle service logistics would be preferable although some training can be provided.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency with front office systems such as Microsoft
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, solution focussed environment.
- Previous experience within the automotive, transport, or commercial vehicle sector is desirable.
Working Hours:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, Office based ( Andover)
- Rotational weekend cover ( approximately 7 per year)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
