About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use):08 The Team:The Middle Office group takes on unique clients and projects that do not fit into the core business offering of WSO Services. This group is responsible for loan trade settlement. What's in it for you:The goal of a Middle Office Analyst is to oversee Trade Settlement client relationships. Provide excellent customer service and loan settlement services to our growing client base while adhering to strict deadlines and targets given. The position offers exposure to external industry entities such as portfolio managers, custodians, and agent banks. Responsibilities: Manage client portfolio(s)/Agency trades in our loan Trade Settlement outsourcing servicesCommunicate proactively and effectively with clientsCoordinate with trade counterparties to receive and review par and distressed trade documentationCoordination with legal counsel and follow-up, when needed, for distressed trades and participationCoordinate trade closings among clients, counterparties, and agentsReview trade documentation, including trade confirms, assignment agreements, and funding memos for discrepancies prior to settlement including using third-party systemsFollow up on outstanding trades and keep current comments updatedDeliver closing packets to custodians and clients before the stated deadlinesReport client metrics and trends on a monthly basis What We're Looking For: BA or BS or equal work experienceKnowledge of par and distressed loans and the documentationKnowledge of trade fee calculationsAbility to read and interpret credit agreementsExperience with daily loan transactionsExposure to ClearPar/TSI/Markit WSO systems is a plusTakes initiative and ownership of job responsibi
