This is an exciting time as Motorpoint is currently in the process of replacing their internal system with Dynamics. The role will involve close liaison with our integration partners to develop Dynamics for this automotive retailer. Once integration is completed, you will be in place to continue development on the platform to suit the needs of a dynamic, forward- thinking organization as well as helping to develop the rest of the internal-systems engineering team’s knowledge of the platform.
- This role suits someone who’s technically hands-on and commercially aware - someone who can balance clean, scalable code with a strong understanding of how businesses use Sales pipelines, forecasting, and relationship management within CE.
- What do we need from you?
Essential skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions in Dynamics 365 CE / CRM
- Strong knowledge of the Sales module – from Lead capture and Opportunity management to Pipeline tracking and Forecasting
- Proficient in C#, JavaScript, and Power Automate, including plugin and workflow development
- Familiar with Power Platform, Dataverse, and extending the Common Data Model
- Solid understanding of solution layers, security model, and form customisation within D365
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or Web API integrations
- Comfortable with source control and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
- Clear understanding of Microsoft’s ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) principles for D365 and Power Platform
- Strong communication skills – able to work effectively with consultants, architects, and non-technical stakeholders
- Confident working in Agile, hybrid, or client-facing delivery environments
Desirable skills
- Exposure to Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Marketing, or Field Service modules
- Experience building custom connectors or embedding Power BI reports within CE
- Familiarity with Dataverse API, Liquid templates, or PCF controls
- Prior experience working in a Microsoft Partner or Consultancy environment
- Microsoft certifications such as PL-400 (Power Platform Developer) or PL-200 (Functional Consultant)
The successful candidate will demonstrate
- A logical approach to problem solving
- The confidence to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to establish excellent working relationships with the existing IT team and across the wider business
- Passion for building elegant, maintainable CRM solutions that deliver measurable impact
- A strong eye for detail – ensuring quality, security, and usability are front and centre
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new Microsoft technologies
- A collaborative mindset – comfortable working with both technical and functional teams
- What is in it for you?
- Paid time off every month to do something that makes you happy
- 31 days' holiday plus days off for your birthday, getting married, or moving house
- Additional holidays for length of service
