About The Role:

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality MFL lessons (French and/or Spanish/German) across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of all students, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and departmental schemes of work.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that promotes respect and high standards of behaviour.
• Participate in departmental and whole-school meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development sessions.
• Lead or support extra-curricular activities, such as language clubs, exchange programmes, or international trips.

What We Are Looking For

We are searching for an exceptional teacher who is not only fluent in their chosen language(s) but is also passionate about Teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Modern Foreign Languages.
• Proven ability to teach French and/or Spanish (with German as an advantage) up to at least Key Stage 4, and ideally Key Stage 5.
• A track record of raising student attainment and fostering a love of languages.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and the use of technology to enhance learning.
• Strong collaborative skills and a desire to contribute positively to our team and school community.
