MFL Teacher - Part Time - Harrow - November Start - Temp to Perm Are you a resilient and passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? This specialist secondary provision caters for students aged 11-16 who may have experienced barriers to learning in mainstream education. Many of the pupils display challenging behaviours and have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school prides itself on creating a nurturing, inclusive, and structured environment where every learner is given the tools, encouragement, and individual attention they need to succeed. We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time MFL Teacher to join a supportive secondary provision in Harrow, working with students who present challenging behaviours and may require additional emotional and academic support. MFL Teacher Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated MFL lessons (French and/or Spanish) to secondary-aged pupils. Support students with diverse learning needs, encouraging positive behaviour and engagement. Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide a nurturing, structured learning environment. Plan and adapt lessons to ensure accessibility and progress for all learners. Attributes: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience teaching MFL at secondary level (Key Stages 3-4). Understanding of SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs or experience in alternative provision is highly desirable. Strong behaviour management skills, patience, and a restorative approach. Committed to h
