- Crown Gas & Power is continuing to grow its Power division, and we’re looking for a structured, improvement-focused Team Leader to bring clarity, consistency and strong leadership to our Metering Team.
- This isn’t a high-volume call centre role. It’s a leadership opportunity within a technical, regulated operational environment where people, ownership and teamwork genuinely matter.
- Our metering team are knowledgeable, proactive and quick to resolve issues. As Power is still a growing division, we now need someone who can strengthen processes, introduce greater structure and help the team move from reactive to consistently well-controlled.

- Strengthen and standardise operational processes
- Introduce clear workflow structure and practical controls
- Drive accountability and ownership across the team
- Improve efficiency, prioritisation and workload visibility
- Gain trust and buy-in while embedding change
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 7 within a regulated operational setting
- Review and improve existing metering workflows and procedures
- Implement structured, practical processes that work for the team
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to maintain standards
- Manage escalations and prioritise workload effectively
- Build engagement, accountability and confidence across the team
- What We’re Looking For
- This role would suit a confident, grounded Team Leader who enjoys bringing structure to a capable team and taking ownership within a growing function.
You’ll likely have
- Proven experience leading an operational, administrative or service-based team
- Demonstrable experience improving or embedding new processes
- Confidence managing performance and setting clear expectations
- The ability to build credibility with technically strong team members
- Strong organisational skills and a calm, structured working style
- A professional approach within a fast-paced environment
- Experience within energy, utilities or another regulated operational environment would be advantageous. However, strong leadership capability and proven process improvement experience are essential.
