MES EngineerSalary: CompetitiveLocation: i54 Wolverhampton - WV9This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in 13 days at 23:59 GMT.The vacancyWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as an MES Engineer at our new state-of-the-art facility based at the I54 Business Park in Wolverhampton.In a nutshell, you will be responsible for defining, developing, integrating, and supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions across our i54 facility. You’ll collaborate with engineers, managers, supervisors, and operators to deliver data-driven applications and hardware implementations that enhance our manufacturing processes and continuous improvement culture.What you are already great at:Leading the definition, development, testing, and integration of MES solutions.Designing and developing front-end MES applications using Ignition by Inductive Automation.Supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining existing MES applications and hardware.Integrating MES with ERP data to drive faster, smarter decision-making.Developing SQL-based reports and dashboards using MES and operational data.Working closely with controls engineers to develop robust data acquisition systems.Integrating data historians to enable future machine learning capabilities.Managing day-to-day MES issues and supporting the wider team in resolving them.Providing technical support to ensure manufacturing issues are addressed promptly (including some off-shift support).Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across project teams.For this role we would need you to demonstrate:Proven experience in delivering data-driven MES or SCADA solutions.Strong technical expertise in Python, SQL, HTM
