We are working with a global manufacturer of high performance architectural glass products seeking a Mechanical Reliability Engineer for their major UK production site. The facility operates a continuous manufacturing process and has recently invested in a next generation furnace to support long term growth.This role sits within the Engineering team and focuses on strengthening asset reliability, maintenance strategy and operational performance.As part of the Engineering function and reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Reliability Engineer will ensure people, processes and technology operate at optimal levels while driving a reliability centred culture across the site.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and improve maintenance and reliability strategiesProvide leadership and coaching using the Principle Based Management frameworkPromote a culture that prioritises long term reliability and asset healthCarry out criticality assessments, root cause analysis and FMEA activitiesIdentify and recommend mitigation actions to reduce asset risk and improve performanceStandardise maintenance tasks covering preventative, corrective and predictive activitiesUse multiple condition monitoring techniques to support data driven decision makingPlan and deliver CBM and PDM programmesProvide technical input to ensure asset risks and consequences are understood and managedSupport continuous improvement activity across asset management and engineering practicesSkills and Experience RequiredFlexible, positive attitude with a strong improvement mindsetExperience in asset management, reliability engineering and maintenance strategyPractical knowledge of condition monitoring tools and techniquesAbility to work autonomously and self manage workloadHND in
